JOB TITLES:

Job Title: Senior Instructor

Minimum/General Experience: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Solutions Developer, three to four years instructional experience in a pertinent area, especially overseeing the development and implementation of custom training curricula. Acts as lead instructor in certified/customized and/or extended duration training engagements. Assumes primary responsibility for curriculum development and delivery; consults with clients to determine needs and meets with clients on an on-going basis throughout training program development. Works with super-visor to enhance program objectives and must identify classroom setup requirements. This position requires effective communication.

Functional Responsibilities: Works closely with the Project Manager and shares major responsibility in managing the training team and scheduling assignments. Performs tasks and analyses to determine resources needed and assists in scheduling resources.

Minimum Education: Requires a Master's degree in a technical or business field.

 

Job Title: Senior Computer Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Requires minimum of 7 years experience or demonstrated performance in related technology. Shall have experience with system network architecture and perform the role of lead technician in the installation of Local Area Networks, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Token-Ring in a Novell, Windows /NT/’95, Wang OS, and/or DOS environment. Installation and configuration of software, the ability to support and maintain client applications via remote diagnostic software. Software development, maintenance, and any troubleshooting of hardware and software related issues and problems. The ability to assist with analysis and development of user specifications. Individual will provide supervision and technical direction to other specialists.

Functional Responsibilities: Assists Project Manager in managing the system team and scheduling assignments. Reports directly to senior level management.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in the computer science, mathematics, or engineering. Masters degree desired or equivalent qualifications. (CNA/CNE)

 

Job Title: Senior Programmer / Analyst

Minimum/General Experience: Seven (7) years demonstrated performance in related technology, especially creating complex systems on a variety of platforms, including preparation of programming specifications, software development and testing. Designs prototypes, develops and codes applications in which processing is shared between a server and networked microcomputers/workstations, using FoxPro, Visual Basic, Access, Visual C++. Provides guidance and technical supervision to programmers and developers on the project team. Requires proficiency in programming and designing programs for all Microsoft Windows Wang Cobol, and/or Oracle platforms, and proficiency in relational database theory, design, modeling and implementation. May require detailed knowledge of legacy systems being converted to client/server architecture.

Job Title: Senior Programmer

Minimum/General Experience: Four + years experience in related areas of technology. Software development and structured analysis techniques on mini’s and microcomputers. System configuration and coordination of installation of computer operating system software and maintains, and modifies software. Extensive experience with programming languages such as FoxPro, Access, Wang COBOL, C+, etc. and database management systems. Enters code changes into computer system to detect errors. Analyzes performance indicators, such as system's response time, number of transactions per second, and number of programs being processed at once, to ensure that system is operating efficiently. Reviews computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if changes to operating system are possible. Changes system software so that system performance will meet objectives. Writes description of steps taken to modify system and procedures required to run new software. Position requires you to train Computer Operators and Computer Programmers to use system software.

Functional Responsibilities: Works with customer, Project Manager and programmers.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

 

Job Title: Junior Programmer

Minimum/General Experience: May be a Microsoft Certified Professional with two (2) years of programming experience in VB, Access, C++, FoxPro, DBASE III or IV, Wang COBOL or other applications. Required to produce workable, readable, well-documented code based on flow-charts, ER diagrams, or procedural specifications provided by analysts. Tests and debugs applications and systems following a test design provided by analysts. Assists in application documentation and adheres to organizational code construction guidelines.

Functional Responsibilities: Cooperates closely with the development team to translate client descriptions and ideas into workable solutions. Reports to the Sr. Programmer.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in the computer science, mathematics, engineering, or operations research or equivalent with two or more years programming experience.

 

Job Title: Scanning Operator/Documentation Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Responsible for the creation and maintenance updating of required technical documentation (both hardware and software) and technical training materials. Works with project and staff managers and engineers on content and format of documentation. Works with little guidance. Provides documentation project planning and direction. Has thorough knowledge of desktop publishing software package(s) and 3.5 years minimum experience as a technical writer and/or technical training documentation writer. Has a minimum of two (2) years as a scanning operator in a technical or information systems environment demonstrating working knowledge of general imagery archiving, scanning or digital printing.

Functional Responsibilities: Reports to Project Manager.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years minimum experience in the preparation and production of formal documentation writer for information systems with at least 3 years in a technical or information systems environment.

 

Job Title: Program Manager

Minimum/General Experience: The individual is fully responsible and accountable to ensure that all contract requirements are completed on time, within contract funding limits. Manages a staff of professional and/or technical personnel to support project requirements directed by the client or Government agency. Establishes goals, plans and schedules, which will meet contractual requirements. Reviews, approves and controls costs of labor and materials to maintain adequate funding levels. Plans, reviews and evaluates the performance and training needs of individuals assigned to the contract. Provides quality control. This position requires an experienced manager capable of effective communications. The individual must possess a strong technical background in the appropriate area, management experience, and be able to operate under a profit/loss scenario. Must have ten (1O) years minimum business experience in the computer/communications systems industry, and five (5) years minimum Project Management experience.

Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst / Telecommunications

Minimum/General Experience: Provides telecommunications support in the design, development and implementation of technologically advanced enhancements in this field. Support includes analysis, design development and implementation of enhancements to a telecommunications LAN, WAN, installation and configuration management, and network security. A working knowledge of Ethernet Switches and HUBS, backbone cable systems, client/server technology, operating systems, data communications and interchange, Fiber Distributed Data Interface and internet connectivity, and Routers are a must. Experience will include extensive responsibility for information systems design and deployment. Experience will include a minimum of 10 years of specialized information systems design, development and deployment. Job Title: Junior Computer Specialist

Performs any combination of following duties to provide technical support to workers in information processing departments. Maintenance of printers, desktop PC’s, disk drives, system configuration, and tape/cartridge drives. Evaluates and test vendor supplied software packages for mainframe computer or microcomputers to determine compatibility with existing system, case of use, and if software meets user needs. Job Title: Programmer-Analyst

Minimum/General Experience: Two (2) years minimum experience in related areas and the ability to plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. The ability to evaluate user request for new or modified program, such as for financial or human resource management system, clinical research trial results, statistical study of traffic patterns, or analyzing and developing specifications for bridge design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. Consults with the client to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Reads manual, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet client requirements. Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program using structured analysis and design. Submits plans to user for approval. Prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved. Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Minimum/General Experience: Responsible for administrative support on specific programs or projects. Functions as the coordinator of all administrative functions. This includes word-processing, ordering supplies, telephone call management and support. Five years minimum experience in administrative support in an automated environment.

Functional Responsibilities: Reports to Program Manager or Project Manager.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

 

Job Title: Project Manager

Minimum/General Experience: Overall responsibility for company performance on specific programs or projects. Function as the leader, manager, and coordinator of all contributing disciplines and resources in the completion of projects or management of the program. Engages in activities such as: assigning tasks; establishing and maintaining task schedules; maintaining liaison between appropriate development/systems personnel and the customer to ensure effective coordination of all projects or program efforts; prepares and adheres to project cost and staffing plans; prepares plans, proposals and briefings. Also provides management of contract negotiations and company representation with customers and subcontractors as required. Minimum/General Experience: Acts as primary instructor for user-level and mid to intermediate-level non-certified training. Job Title: Network Engineer

Minimum/General Experience: Four + years experience in Banyan VINES Network Administration and support. Provides advanced network administration, support, advanced trouble-shooting, technical training, and advanced server administration support. Develops work plans for server, PC and peripheral installation and maintenance. Conducts new product evaluations and develops new products implementation procedures. The ability to act as Special Project Lead or Coordinator.

Functional Responsibilities: Works with customer and Project Managers.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in the sciences, and or equivalent experience. Completion of Banyan VINES Tech or equivalent.

 

Job Title: Computer Scientist

Minimum/General Experience: Six (6) years experience demonstrated performance in related technology, especially design, and development and implementation of all types of complex systems on a variety of platforms. The ability to write scientific programs if required by clients. Converts scientific, engineering, and other technical problem formulations to format able to be processed by computer. Re solves symbolic formulations, prepares flow charts and block diagrams, and encodes resultant equations for processing by applying extensive knowledge of branch of science, engineering, or advanced mathematics, such as differential equations or numerical analysis, and understanding of capabilities and limitations of computer. Confers with other engineering and technical personnel to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing. Enters program into computer system.. Reviews results of computer runs with personnel to determine necessity for modifications or reruns. Develops new subroutines or expands program to simplify statement, programming, or coding of future problems. May direct and coordinate activities of Computer programmers.

Job Title: Communication Integration Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Seven (7) years experience demonstrated performance in related technology, especially the telecommunication network to end users. The ability to isolate and resolve complex or high-risk WAN network problems on several platforms, as well as evaluate performance. Ensures optimum equipment performance to clients by analyzing and modifying internal configuration of host and network components, Including reviewing performance data, adjusting engineering designs, and initialing and effecting changes to switch translations via a Wan (i.e. routers, concentrators, SNMP ,SMTP, TCP/IP, rip, arp, ttip, ftp, rlogin, and telnet . Enters commands and observes system functions to verify correct system operation and instructs user in use of equipment, software, and manuals. Answers clients inquiries in person and via telephone concerning systems operation; diagnostic system hardware software, and operator problems; and recommends or forms minor remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation. This person will also have the experience in providing Help Desk support to network-related outages at client sites.

Job Title: Project Engineer II

Minimum/General Experience: Six (6) years experience demonstrated performance in related technology, especially design, and development and implementation of all types of complex systems on a variety of platforms. Designs, prototypes, develops and codes applications in which processing is shared between a server and networked microcomputers/workstations, using Visual Basic, Visual C++, C, FORTRAN, PL/SQL and COBOL. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to projects requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical . Job Title: Software Engineer

Minimum/General Experience: Four + years experience with researching, designing, and developing computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development, for government, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysts. The ability to analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Formulates and designs software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of design. Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system. Job Title: Microsoft Windows NT Senior Systems Engineer

Minimum/General Experience: Microsoft Certified System Engineer. Must be certified in the appropriate Microsoft Back Office product. Acts as senior level technical support working in networking and communications projects. Shall have experience with system network architecture, gateways, bridges, front-end communications processors software protocols, and interfaces. Understands client/server relationsh4p, mainframes and peripheral equipment associated with complete system integration. Develops plans and performs/supervises assignments of substantial variety and complexity-Integrates Microsoft technology within Novell/Banyan Vines/DEC environments.

Functional Responsibilities: Works closely with the Systems Architect, Program Manager or client and shares responsibility in managing the systems team and scheduling assignments. May act as the sole Project Manager, as needed.

Job Title: Systems Technician

Minimum General Experience: Experienced with a Specific Microsoft Back Office technology product, Performs well defined technical assignments in support of senior personnel. Gathers, organizes and examines data for completeness and accuracy. Generates, revises and updates various documentation and reports. Interfaces with middle management level personnel associated with software, telecommunications, vendors, suppliers and equipment manufacturers, Government agencies, and other entities to carry out tasking.

Minimum General Experience: Microsoft Certified Professional. Knowledgeable of Server-side development using CCI, ISAPI, OLE ISAPI and the Internet Database Connector. Familiar with Internet Studio development

Four (4) years demonstrated performance in related technology, especially creating and managing large and complex systems on a variety of platforms. Has a thorough knowledge of the including vendor specific extensions provided by Netscape and Microsoft. Experienced with issues surrounding the design and layout of graphical objects and text. Familiar with tools available for Internet Content development including Front Page and the Internet assistance for MS Office. Familiar with the Internet database Connector.

Job Title: Database Administrator

Minimum General Experience: Microsoft Certified Professional. Four (4) years demonstrated performance in related technology, especially creating and managing large and complex databases on a variety of platforms. Familiar with data organization, normalization, and security issues. Has demonstrated experience in Sybase, Oracle Informix, SQL Server, Access, and/or Foxpro. Has experience in the maintenance and optimization of large mission critical databases. Is familiar with security measures, data and user rights assignments, backup strategies and report generation.

Job Title: Senior Computer Security Systems Specialist

Minimum General Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized experience in defining computer security requirements for high level applications, evaluation of approved security product capabilities, and developing solutions to Multilevel Security (MLS) problems.

Functional Responsibilities: Analyzes and defines security requirements for MLS issues. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions to MLS requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of the MLS. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization’s mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Math. (Master’s degree and eight years general experience of which at least seven years must be specialized or thirteen years general experience of which at least eleven is specialized.)

Minimum General Experience: Minimum of ten years experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized experience in defining computer security requirements for high level applications, evaluation of approved security product capabilities, and developing solutions to MLS problems. The ability to analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. Coordinates installation of security software system.
